    3. Caroline When you were checking the cemeteries, did you notice my James J. Clark? I've yet to find his grave. He was in the 44th Ala Inf, but I don't have access to his birth date or death. He is believed to be from a different Clark family as his father was also named James.     3. Chuck there is a Clark Cemetery (family cemetery). In it are several with surnames of Lawrence and Mink. Also: J.J. Clark, b. July 15, 1831; d. Mar 17, 1879. Charles P. Clark, b. May 11, 1859; d. Oct 11, 1859. This J. J. Clark is the only "J" Clark of the right age to have been in the war. I assume you have, or have looked for, his or his widow's confederate pension records.
