Hello Bibb List, Does anyone have a way of looking up the death of James Clark. He was the son of Alexander Clark and the brother of John Clark. He had to have died in early 1865 or late 1864 because his will was probated in , I believe, May of 1865. Thanks, Ingrid As Long As You Mention My Name, I Live....Mayberry, Wilson, Mason, Clark, Duff, Kemp... Ingrid
Hi Ingrid, some one on the list may have a better idea . . . but my only suggestion is to contact the Ala Dept of Archives and Hx and ask them to research the old newspapers for an obit. There is a charge for this service which is explained on the site. You can make the request onsite. I assume you have checked the cemetery book. I did so, quickly. Did he have a middle name or initial?
