On the census of 1870 ,1880, and 1910 of Calhoun county Ms. she is listed as being born in NC .According to her grave marker she was born 1 June 1833. Died 1917. Her husband James P. Moreland was born in South Carolinia 1n 1826 and died in 1899. The George W. Moreland listed in Bibb county was also born in South Carolinia. With the Putman family living next door it makes a case for this Ann being Matilda. A son of James P. and Matilda, William named a son George W. which makes me believe there is a connectrion here. Again many thanks for you time and effort. I do plan to make a trip to Bibb county for a copy of the marriage record.
