The office is in Centreville and across the street from the courthouse. Photcopies are $1 there and at most Probate Offices in Ala. When looking for the marriage record also look for wills,estate records and legal documents of corolary relatives, etc. You might call the Probate Office to find out dates for the earliest records. You can also check the Archives web site for the same information as to what is on microfilm and for dates. The Alabama Genealogical Society is in the process of indexing loose papers in all counties and Bibb County microfilm has been indexed.
