The problem I am having with this marriage is this, there is no Pretnel listed in Bibb county and surrounding areas for the years 1850 and 1860. On the net others are readily accepting the date and names for this marriage. I plan to travel to Bibb county and search for the marriage certificate and if found make a copy. With the directions and advice given I feel sure I can satisfy myself as to the names and dates of the marriage. Again thanks for the advice.
