The Birmingham Genealogical Society was organized on March 15, 1959. It was organized exclusively for educational and research purposes, and to foster preservation of genealogical and historical material. This year we celebrate our 50th anniversary. The celebration will take place on March 21, 2009 at the Birmingham Public Library, Linn-Henley Building . All members and friends are invited to help us celebrate this occasion at 1:00 pm in the Arrington Auditorium on the third floor. Refreshments will be served.
