Hello, My grgrandmother was Lettice Ann (Lettie) Williams, who married Joseph Yerby Willis, in Coosa Co Al in 1842. (Rockford Al seemed to be a popular place to get married, plus Joseph Yerby worked on the river, in three counties) Lettie had a brother named Hillery, and she named a son after him. Her folks were Hugh Williams, and Rachel Post.. (I think these Williams had first come from Ga) Hugh and Rachel also had a daughter named Winifred (Winnie) Williams who married John Wesley Willis in Shelby Co Al in 1852, so sisters married brothers.Joseph Yerby had a granddaughter, who married William Post. This is the only Hillery Williams I have seen in Shelby Co Al. Stella
