Enos' maternal grandfather was Reuben Rogers. Brothers of Enos were Samuel and Manuel (may be others). If Sion Perry was the Sion Luther Perry listed in the extended genealogy of Phillip Perry, then: Phillip Perry (~1700-1751, 51 years); 27 years when son was born; Francis Perry (1727-1814, 87 years) immigrated to NC, fought in Revolutionary War; 33 years old when son was born; Sion Perry (1760-1821, 61 years); 33 years when son was born; Sion Luther Perry (1793-1874, 81 years) immigrated to AL sometime after 1828 (per Phillip Perry genealogy); 20 years old when son was born; Enos Perry (1813-1895, 82 years) immigrated to AL sometime between 1837 (marriage bond in NC is 1833, Joseph Calvin born in NC in 1837) and 1839 (Thomas born in AL in 1839; land grant in AL - 1858); 31 years old when son was born; William Bryant Perry (1844-1922, 78 years) AL, fought in Civil War; 32 years old when son was born; Thomas Walter Perry (1876-1953, 77 years) immigrated to IL in 1925; 45 years old when son was born; James Huey Perry (1921-1995, 74 years) immigrated to IL in 1925, fought in WWII; 40 years old when son was born; William Robert Perry (1961- ME SEVERAL QUESTIONS EXIST IN MY MIND AS TO THE TRUTH OF THIS - USE WITH CAUTION. ============== Sources used in creating this lineage: Franklin County (NC) Deed Book 25, Sept Session 1828 - June Session 1829 (Book N), p. 94: "Rueben Rogers deed of gift to his grandchildren, namely Manuel (Manual?)
