    3. Does anyone know of a connection between the Hill family and Canterberry family? The Hill family interacted with the Canterberry on various deeds and were appraisers of the estate of Zachariah Canterberry in Bibb County. I read on another list, which is not confirmed that Enoch Hill married a Mary Ann Canterberry. This is from a post on the Rootsweb Canterbury mailing list. She was 55 years old in the 1850 census. I do not know when her husband Samuel Canterberry was born. but I doubt that he was born in 1728 and died about 1840. Samuel did die sometimes between 1830 and 1840 in Lowndes County, AL. I believe that my ancestor Samuel Canterberry who died in Lowndes County, AL is connected to the Bibb County Canterberry family. That is why I am interested in the Hill family. Names mentioned in various deeds etc. are Robert Hill, James Hill, and Pleasant Hill. Warmest regards, Beth Gay, Auburn AL
