I ran across this information while looking for some of my Martins. Thought it might help someone...since I have seen postings on Mitchells. My MIL was a Mitchell, from Sylvania (and Georgia). I think the Bibb folks were probably kin, but I haven't connected to her father, John T Mitchell, son of Benjamin (South Carolina) to them.
