    3. Thanks to all the listers who answered my question about Prattville and Bibb Co. I understand that Prattville was never a part of Bibb County. It was listed on a marriage cert from early 1900's as the place where someone was married but it was a Bibb County Marriage. I am still baffled why this was on the cert.     3. Ingrid, Not saying this is what happened, but it could have been they both lived away from their parents and obtained the license where they lived and worked. They could then have married where they grew or one of them grew up and where his/her/their parnet(s) lived. The popular think now days is to go to the beach here or some resort area and get married, have the honeymoon there and then return home.
