    3. Hi Ingrid, I don't when this law was enacted but my experience with unmarked graves has gone no where. I have asked the church people about the cemetery records and am always told that there are records for the graves that are marked but not for the unmarked. I can only assume earlier records were lost, destroyed or not kept.     3. Thanks Joni, I think that churches are considered non for profit and do not have to keep those types of records. I am at my wits end with this problem.
