I have a James M. Holder as my Great Grandfather. His first wife was Minerva Smith. She is the daughter of the parents you mentioned. She did live in haysop community in Alabama. She did die in 1888 in Alabama. The children I have are Sissy Holder, Wiley Lafayette Holder and W. Thomas Holder. I have a lot of descendants from these, but nothing on the parents of James M. Holder. I do know James lived in Maud, Bowie, Texas with his second wife Rachael. His son Wiley also lived in Maud. James or Jim, Rachael, Wiley Lafayette, and others (to include his third wife Bennie) are buried in centeridge cemetery in Maud. James died in 1916. I do not have a definite date of his birth. it jumps around a lot, but most seems to be 1853. I haven't even a clue of his parents or his any brothers/sisters until I came onto this message board of yours tonight. Hope this information works for you. Please reply with any of his relatives info, brothwers, sisters, mother,! father or anything you have. I'll send more if this is the right names for you.
