    1. Re: [ALBIBB] Williams in Bibb, Chilton Counties, at Mulberry Church.
    2. Chuck, it is not in the community with Scottsville. It is at the Isabella School...between Maplesville and Clanton...but due north...The Bibb County line used to go that far..in sort of a dip from West Blocton down that far...you know...we discussed before, of Cox chapel, and where the Brown Boldings lived, close to Randolph, being Bibb at one time? It was due to the mining at some of those places. I think it was sort of divided due to mining and farming...to keep all counties prosperous....when I can get time I will start with beginning of book with names. A Joseph Williams came in late 1700's with family to this area, and was one of the founders of Mulberry...Leb may have been his son...because it said he was living in home of his father at first.. The people who went there were the people who ended up in Chilton, mostly...but in the early years when there were few churches, fewer roads, fewer little towns, no railroads...everything was settled on creeks, or rivers. At first it was a large county called Cahawba. Gotta run...Stella
