We are related down the line somewhere .I was born in Clanton also. Now I am in Kentucky, It would be easier to do some of this history if I was still there. I am far enough in my family history were everything is in Bibb county. Now it is a part of Chilton, back then it wasn't. I guess that make it more of a challenge. People I am looking for are William Durbin early 1800's Henry s. Durbin.Tempy (Oates) Durbin And my GGreat grandfather Middleton Durbin. All of these are in Bibb Co. census. They all have land grants which appear to be next to each other. They got to be related ,but I need that one tie. All of the records from 1860 back are Bibb county. I have chased this rabbit around a tree so many times ,I wore a path , and still ain't caught the rabbit. Know what I mean. If any of yall hit something or get lucky let me know. I sure would appreciate it.
