    3. Hi,. Going over the post by Jacque Otts on Jan 9, 2007, I have some additional information on the family of Joseph and Jane Williams in my files. Thomas W., the son of Joseph and Jane, married Susan Gentry on April 7, 1864 in Autauga Co., AL. She was born Jan. 17, 1846 and died Mar. 14, 1886, buried at Mulberry. Here is the information I have on Joseph, son of Joseph and Jane: Obit in the SOUTH WESTERN BAPTIST, issue of August 13, 1863 "Also died August 1st, 1862, in camps near Pollard, in the Montgomery and F. R. R. of Typhoid Fever, his brother, Joseph B. Williams of Bibb County, Alabama, aged nineteen years, eight months and five days. Enlisted for the war under Capt. A. B. Gardner of Dallas County, 20/29th Regiment, in November 1861, and was ordered to Pensacola. Not a member of any church. Leaves father, mother, brothers and sisters. A relative. From book, YOURS, MINE AND THEIRS, "Williams, Joseph B. was born 1842 and died 1 Aug 1862 and was buried at..... Obituary: None Sgt, Co D, 29th Ala. Inf. Died at Camp Jackson, Tenn. Never married. Ref: AoB page 164, HAAH, page 203." Don't know which is correct that he died at Camp Jackson, Tenn or that he died near Pollard as the obit states. Irma J. Roy
