Corner of-TUSCALOOSA COUNTY AREAS"-(circa- 1820<)-[some of this area-near BEAR CREEK and the *OLD SARDIS CHURCH*- Became-BIBB & TAL.NAT. FOREST] -----*HINTONS*--*BROWNS*-- and at least One of the three or four Families of *MONTGOMERY* settled here?? Some of these Extended Families moved on to the "SIPSEY RIVER" areas, which became "GREENE" & "PICKENS" COUNTY's--One of these were the Family of *COL.WILLIAM HINTON*, This guy had a ton of FARM-LAND on Both sides of the River, Which Straddled the-[NEW]-Counties Borders! We are still trying to place him to our gggrandfather- *JOHN HINTON* - (b. JOCO, NC- circa- 1790-1843), apparently they were some Close Family-[UNCLE or Something- he was Older]??? We know of at least Two of the *MONTGOMERY* and THOMPSONS* stopped in "ST. CLAIR* COUNTY - (circa- early- 1820's), and apparently some parts of "ST. CLAIR" Became "FAYETTE" COUNTY?? Looking for ANY INTEL on these Families, and/ or ANY of the Extended Families in the-[now] METRO-TUSCALOOSA areas!!! Some of your people may have been in Pickins, Perry, Fayette or surrounding countues. Thompsons lived in Dallas County too...which comes to a corner of Bibb and Chilton,and Perry.I saw Thompson on a census for Dallas county.
