    3. Hey Joni, Easy as pie, thanks! I emailed Rootsweb Help earlier this p.m. but had not heard back from them yet so this email will tell the tale. I don't recognize (from my Mom's notes) the names, but when I was writing things down one day while she was just talking, I have a note that says "Aunt Ida used to talk about places like Plantersville, where is that?" The only thing I know for certain is that our earliest documented Ward was a baby in Tuscaloosa Co. on the 1850 census. Hugh Tinel/Tennel "Dan" Ward was a baby living with his SHELBY (maternal) grandparents on that census. I do appreciate both your help with the name thing and another clue on our WARD family.
