    3. Hello, Yes I have all three books by Mr. Boyd about the area of Bibb and Tuscaloosa County which would be of concern to those around Duncanville, Haysop, Liberty Church and Bear Creek. My grandmother was a Pearson/Pierson. She was related to the Stewart, Steele, Miller, Reach, Majure, and Greer families of Bibb County; and all the connections to that area. I gave you all that was mentioned about the Hinton families in the Liberty Church and Haysop books. If I was you, I would try the cemetery records of Bibb and Tuscaloosa counties. There is a book by a Mr. McCord that has the cemeteries of Bibb County. I got a lot of information from that book. For some reason I am partial to cemetery books. I guess because it has birth and death dates. My husband has relatives from Randolph County, Alabama, and they have all their cemeteries online. That to me, is just a wealth of information. Tuscaloosa County has a lot of cemeteries, and it would be a tremendous help if they were all online. The book by Mr. McCord is wonderful. I broke down and bought that one, the same summer I purchased the books by Charles Boyd. Between the four books, I gained much needed insight into Bibb County. The late Herman Belcher, who was a mainstay of Bibb County Internet geneology, provided so much to me. He was such a wonderful man and had so much information he was willing to share. Historical information suffered a tremendous loss with his death. Anyway, I have rambled to long. Connie Parnell-BEverly "Ayers, B. J." <[email protected]> wrote: 01JAN07 MISS. They are not in the index, either. All of the books by Mr. Boyd are truly a wealth of information about this area; but, the Hinton family is not mentioned in this book, or so says the index. I have the book right next to me. That is not to say they were not in the area, but he did not mention them in this book. In the Haysop book, a Bertha Hinton is mentioned on p. 97--she is mentioned as being the wife of Loman Earnest Boyd, who is the son of Van Buren Boyd and Mignon Yeage--that is my interpretation of the paragraph. In the Liberty Church book, there is a John Hinton mentioned as being a member of the Sardis Church from 1819-1829. Maybe that will help you some. But as far as a whole chapter on the Hintons' I'm sorry but no. Connie Parnell-Beverly "Ayers, B.
