Caroline...I just bet...Walter and others could add more than I can about Centreville and T&T Bbq...back when. As I was remembering it..as it was, I suppose the street was much narrower...because we parked in front and used the front door...the buses pulled in back...people off the buses used the side door.I can't recall what was on corner that has service station and parking lot now...The waitress wrote out the ticket on little receipt books...and you went up front to pay on way out.The beautiful little lady (probably owner's wife) stuck it on a wire holder...rang up amount on a cash register.There were houses all around there,then..Belcher Lumber was well known, there across the highway, back aways. Big homes were in Centreville as I remember...with big lawns and trees.Brent was a long way to drive..., lol...times sure change.What I miss the most is the fields and things growing! Stella
