Hi Stella, Have you looked at the Mitchell DNA project page online? If I remember correctly, there is a descendent of Ephraim Mitchell of SC in the project. You should be able to contact him through the project page. He may be able to give you more info on Ephraim's descendents and where John Smith Mitchell connects to that line. You can find the site through Google or through the FamilyTreeDNA website.
