Is there a divorce record? Esther born in Amenia, now Dutchess Co. New York ( across the border from Kent, Litchfield Co. Connecticut) Unable to locate their marriage date. William Trucks/Trux Sr. will speaks of George who was thought to have been killed near the Mississippi River. Could this be George Joseph? He was in the war of 1812 and married Sarah Johnson 05Dec.1812 in Madison Co. Ala. and settled in Bibb Co. Ala. Have seen an extensive documentation of the Pettibones and Esther's ancestors.
