Frank Cain and family who lived in Scottsville in the late 1800s. This was my grandfather and he migrated from Wisconsin. He stayed a few years in Alabama where he established a saw mill. My mother mentioned Piper in her writing about their stay in Alabama. If there is anything about his sawmill in the book, "The Struggle and Joy", I will try to get a copy for myself.
