Hi All: Here is a new response to an old question. Alice E. Robbins and her husband, Benjamin F. Caffee are both buried in the Scottsville Cemetery. Based on Caroline's grandmother's autograph book, that would make Benjamin a son of Samuel P. Caffee & Elizabeth Peward Vance. Alice's parents were Simeon Robbins & Eliza Ann Curry. Eliza is buried in the Scottsville Cemetery as well. (an infant child of Walker Caffee (son of Benjamin & Alice) is also buried there. According to his gravestone, Benjamin died 23 June 1885, but as noted below, is not listed in the 1880 census with his family, although he is buried next to his wife. I don't know how Mahala Howard Colbert fits in at this time.
