Laverne, Thanks for trying to help this guy. I'm presently in California visiting daughter, and do not have access to my "stuff". Brown is my line. I descend from Cornelius Latham through his daughter Catherine. It seems I do not have Jesse A. Brown in my file. Either he did not connect or I missed him. I do not live in Bibb County but have been there to a Hicks Latham Reunion. My file is extensive since everybody in that county married their relative or a relative of a relative. After doing more research today, I am thinking that William Wesley Brown that died in Mississippi might not be the son of John H. Brown & Susan. They had a son by that name, but I have been doing census research today and lots of things don't match. I will search some more tomorrow and hopefully I can come up with some reliable information.
