Gomer Smith, from Germany. On Census records for Bibb& Baker Co show Enoch Smith's with 3 different wives, & he is abt the same age on each Census.He was married to my GGrandmother Eliz. Coker, but on Ancestry.Com shows under Family Data Collection that Enoch Smith, married to Mary Bruce, & it shows his parents to be Adam & Elizabeth Smith. He married Elizabeth Coker on Jun 1843, & this shows to Mary 1844. There has been a discrepancy for years if he was married to 3 different wives, or just to 1, my GG, Elizabeth. I have heard that an Enoch Smith is buried in Brierfield,AL but this Enoch was to have been married to Harriett Ford. Does anyone have any information to help me sort this all out?
