The parents of Jacob's wife, Martha A. Brown, were Lucinda Cleveland and Willis Brown. They had two other children, James N C Brown and David L Brown. After Willis' death about 1840, Lucinda in 1842 married Jacob Kersh's oldest brother, Martin Kersh. Martha grew up in Martin and Lucinda's home and later married Jacob. I have not been able to find any trace of them after the 1870s. jackie kersh > iii. MARTHA J. BROWN, b. 1843, Bibb Co. AL; d. > Unknown; m. (1) JACOB D. KIRSH; d. Unknown; m.
