    3. Sorry Bibb Listers, I thought I had a bit of the story wrong. It was not Rebecca Cox but Nancy Carson Duff that was married to Lafayette and died in Dec. 1851 weeks after the birth of their son Lafayette W Wilson. Sorry for the confusion on my part. Does anyone have a death date for the Doct. Lafayette Wilson? Thanks Ingrid As Long As You Mention My Name, I Live....Mayberry, Wilson, Mason, Clark, Duff, Kemp... Ingrid

    3. Hello listers, Does anyone have a copy of or have access to the Lafayette Wilson and Rebecca Cox Wilson will and/or estate papers. She must have died shortly after child birth in late 1850 or early 1851 and Lafayette death followed leaving their estate and children to John Duff the uncle. I think I have that story right. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Ingrid As Long As You Mention My Name, I Live....Mayberry, Wilson, Mason, Clark, Duff, Kemp... Ingrid

Hopefully you saw the announcements last year asking you to hold the dates of May 19 - 21, 2007 on your calendar. The reunion will be held in Sterling, Virginia (a suburb of Washington DC, near Dulles airport). The reunion will include all day tours to sites of family interest in Loudoun and Fairfax Counties. The Smytheman and Holden families lived in Loudoun County, Virginia in the 1760's and in Fairfax County, Virginia in the 1780's. You can see more information about the reunion and the tours by going to: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~gbonner/reunion.htm We are very lucky that Loudoun County will be celebrating the 250th anniversary of its founding on May 19. Our reunion starts that evening. So plan to come a day early to attend the special events being planned by the county for its 250th anniversary. We have reserved a block of rooms at discounted group rates at the hotel and have arranged for a group luncheon at an inn built in 1728 that was just a mile away from where our ancestors lived. The deadline for making your hotel reservations and sending in your registration is April 27, 2007. Please spread the word to others in your family. If you have any questions, please let me know. 2. There were lots of Pratts in Bibb County. Could it be possible that the community where they lived might have been called Prattville? I think that most of them lived in the River Bend area. ************************************** AOL now offers free email to everyone. Find out more about what's free from AOL at http://www.aol.com.
