This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: WCarah Surnames: Harris, Woolley Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.alabama.counties.bibb/3766/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Does anyone have M.I. readings from Weldon Cemetery just off Bear Creek Road (Rt. 1), west of Centreville? I am looking for the grave site of Abel K. Harris (1802-1870) and his wife, Emeline Woolley Harris (~1818-1860's). The Harris plantation of the 1850-60-70's time period was nearby, about at the present intersenction of County Road 83 and Big Barn Road. Thanks, Warren Carah Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Are these maps in this book dated? Are they deed survey maps or land patent maps? Caroline- I can attest to the fact that the Arphax maps are very nice. I would suggest spending the extra money for the Deluxe Editions. I have purchased several of these. Well, Deb's message popped up just as I sent the previous info about putting the map on the web site. But, be sure to check the web sites for the land books. They will be a valuable resource to your own library - or perhaps you would like to purchase one to donate to your local library. How could I obtain a copy of marriage application from Jan 20, 1903. My Great Grandparents John PETERNELL and Mary KRAKER were married then. Also would parental information be on this? They also had a child born while living there Frances Peternell.
