The Bibb Blade, which I think is two doors down from the Annex in Centreville has all the old papers in these huge books and the ladies in there are more than happy to help you with them. They are really helpful. If so, or in Ala. or close state, you can travel to the Archives, the Linn-Henley library in B'ham, LDS family hx center in B'ham, Wallace State College library in Hanceville, etc. Look at the web sites for these places to see what resources they have and if you need to request before arrival. I believe Linn-Henley has a collection on mines in Alabama. Good luck. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. All information re research fees, etc., is posted on the web site. Another is to check with your closest LDS Family History Center for microfilmed newspapers that can be ordered for you. Many libraries can order microfilm on interlibrary loan - check with your local library. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
