I tried to contact you about a month ago but I'm not sure if you received my e-mail. Do you have any additional info on the Langlin or Perry family? I know very little about both of them. However, I believe Calvin's parents are Emanuel Perry and Marthy Pace Perry. They were married 31 Jan 1831 in North Carolina and are listed in the 1850 Alabama Census for Tallapoosa Co. Also, I think I found them on the 1860 Alabama Census for Bibb Co, however they are indexed as Pindar because that is the family name listed just about them. On that census, all the information matches my family except the last name. And, I believe Calvin had a brother Augustus who married Martha McNeal in 1855 in Bibb County. Augustus and Martha had two children, William E born 1857 and Mary born 1858. It is still a mystery if Calvin served during the Civil War. I have found a Calvin Perry and Augustus Perry listed with the Talladega Camp of Instruction. But I am not sure if this Calvin if gggrandfather. I do know that Joseph Calvin Perry from Bibb County was killed during the Civil War. He was married to Frances Holder and had two children, Charity and Enos. Joseph Calvin was sometimes listed as Calvin. So, it is possible the person listed might be Joseph Calvin. She had a brother Jonathan, who married Sarah jane Perry in 1846. Don't know if this is the same family. We have not been able to find out who our ggggrandfather Pleasant was married to.
