    3. Hello fellow listers: I just read all of the postings to the board regarding the Albertson name. Regarding Albertsons from Holland, for some time a lot of Protestants left England, Germany & other countries & then sailed out of Holland. Sometimes I think they were in Holland for several yrs before they could get a ship to the colonies.  I believe that I have 2 Albertsons in my fathers family. Rhoda Albertson who married a Levi Munden (Mundon/Mundin). I believe that his mother was also an Albertson. Levi's parents were Joseph Munden & Hannah (poss Albertson). Rhoda & Levi Munden had a daughter Mary, b 21 Sept. 1813 in Washington Co, IN. She married William Carter Fawbush (b 6 Oct. 1814) on 18 Aug 1836. Apparently they both were born, married & buried around Little York, Washington Co, IN. I have various amounts of info on their 9 children. It seems that most of my ancestors started out in the Carolinas & then went to Indiana sometime after 1800. If any of this sounds familiar to anyone, would love to hear from you. I found 8 kids through the various censuses. I show her parents as John Albertson 1836-1919 and Naoma/Teomy Tiptton OR Stephens 1836-1861. John's pension records list both. (John's 2nd wife was Luvicy/Louvisa Simpson 1832-1915. They md in 1861, had 1 kid.) I have John's parents as Solomon b 1810 / Mary or Maria b 1812; then Solomon b 1781 / Rachel b 1794; then Early 1756-1844 / Elizabeth Coulson 1758-1856. 2. Belinda Floyd
    3. Hello fellow listers:   I'm trying to find out info regarding Rhoda Albertson, who is my g-g-g-grandmother. The only info I have is that she married a Levi Munden/Mundon/Mundan. If I remember correctly, his mother was also an Albertson, but not sure about that. The only child that I know anything about is my 2Xgreat-grandmother, Mary Munden, born 21 Sept. 1813 in Washington Co, Indiana. She married William Fawbush/Faubush on 16 Aug. 1836, also in Washington Co, IN. I have names for 6 children: James Riley, VIRGINIA EVELINE, 2 Oct 1838?, Samantha J, Miles P. a doctor who died in the CIvil War, Thomas P, served in the Civil War & Lewis Case. It seems like most of my dads side of the family was in Washington Co, especially around Little York. When Virginia married Thomas Redmond Floyd on 11 March 1858, the minister was her uncle Zachariach Mundon/Munden. If any of this seems familar to you or if you are familar with this area or families in this area, I would love to hear from you.   Thank you, Belinda Floyd [email protected]

    2. To whoever you are with Albertson family information. Thank you very much for what you have sent me. Yes, I am very interested in any other information on the family of Mary Coats Albertson that you might have. I would also be interested in her husband, my maternal great grandfather (12 Oct 1812 - 24 Aug 1858), George Parker Mercer. His father was Bernard Mercer (b. 1 Mar 1784), and the Mercer family was said to have come from Ireland. I have Mercer information up to the present and would be glad to share what I have with you.
