    1. [ALBERTA] Request for Assistance - Athabaska
    2. Sarah Murtagh
    3. Hi, May name is Sarah Murtagh and I've just joined this list. I came across a book index "From Out of the Wilderness - Baptiste Lake - Athabaska" which mentions a great uncle of mine - Martin William Hitchins (and wife Monica) who remains somewhat of a mystery. He left England, travelled to Chicago, Illinois and then travelled to Canada (Alberta) in 1911, according to the two letters we found from him dated 1956. Would someone who could do a look-up for me in either this book or "Athabaska Landing: An Illustrated History", please contact me privately. I'm not sure if this second book mentions my great-uncle or not. And as well, could someone tell me if there are cemetery records that I could access (hopefully on-line) for the town of Athabaska, or a historical society for Athabaska. Thanks for reading this request. Sarah Murtagh London, Ontario
