The family consisted of Charles DITTMER (born c. 1872), his wife Sophia (REIS) DITTMER (b. 1874), daughter Lena and sons Carl, Ernest, and Julius Ray. Sophia's parents, Joachim Christian REIS and Emma (HOFELDT) REIS may also have gone there, and there may have been other Reis relatives in the area.
