Jane Elizabeth APPLETON passed away in Vancouver on November 7, 1942. The funeral was in Vancouver, but the obituary said she was buried in Macleod. I am not sure if an obituary appeared in the Macleod Gazette or not. On her arrival from England in 1901, Jane lived in Winnipeg with her brother Christopher. I have no idea if she lived in Macleod at one time, but obviously she must of. I am sure she requested the place of burial. Jane was born in Osmotherley Yks, on about Sept 27, 1857. In what cemetery would an Anglican likely be buried, and who keeps the burial records?? I will be going through Macleod this summer and would like to visit the grave. Jane was my Dad's Aunt. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
