Posted on: General Alberta<br>Canada Queries Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/Canada/Alberta/General/11533 Surname: ------------------------- Hi there I believe my Olav was Norwegian and came from Kristiania (Oslo)..He was possibly born June 1876 and possibly immigrated in 1907(I am not 100% sure of all this yet though)I did see a picture of him once , he could have been 60-70 yrs old, therfore I assume he died between 1936-1946?? I was in Red Deer about a week & 1/2 ago went to Red Deer Museum and did a bit of searching around..There was a Olav or Ole Peterson in that area, but apparently he was quite tall and the people I spoke to thought he was Swedish too.. I looked at the book"Along the Burnt Trail " and don't think he is my Olav.. Thanks Janice Abbotsford BC
