He worked in the mine district, somewhere near Calgary. There he met Anna Cuporakova and married Purdiak there. Her parents were Jozef and Helena Cuporakova. She worked as a cook either in Calgary or closer to the mine area. About 10 years later, they immigrated to Wisconsin, USA. Having trouble finding any information as to their whereabouts in Alberta and immigration information. Any assistance would be welcome
