    3. To All Listers/Adherants, There seem to be two or three email viruses about the past couple of days. I just received mail from all the foregoing addresses and while I think I know from which group came the offending mail, I just received the W32 Badtrans.13312@mm virus. Fortunately, Norton caught it inbound. I also rec'd a not so nice and judgemental email sent on the BC list more or less accusing another person [not me] of sending a virus deliberately. Personally, I doubt the accusation has merit even though I can understnad the upset...especially when one of the `big boys' ' software misses the inbound virus. Yes, I had one imbedded - not attached - and had a terrible time before it was cleaned out of my system. Came from a preacher who didn't know he was spreading it via Outlook Express, a most common target. I managed to find and isolate the offending code. Trust all will forgive me for sneding this message to the genealogical forums here addressed. Most moderators do an excellent job of screening...and perhaps they'll even screen this message. I sus[pect the one I got went to the forum and to myself automatically. I wrote the sender privately. Just be warned: keep you anti-virus `dat' files current constantly and pray. Even the anti-virus people can mess up but at least you'll stand a fighting chance. Ron Davies Surrey, B.C. Canada
