Hi to all in Alberta I have just been advised from a wonderful lister in Los Angles that the Shortell family from Sussex, England are or were living in Alberta according to the 1911 Census. My question is, how do I take this further as I would like to find any one who is related. The Shortell family are.. Arthur Ernest Shortell born 1864 London, He married Bertha NEWNHAM 1885 Hastings, Sussex, England Their children.. Emily Augusta born 1886 Hastings, Sussex, England Herbert Charles N born 1887 ditto Iva Edith born 1889 ditto Nora Bertha born 1900 ditto My interest is thru Bertha Newnhm as I have been trying to reseach my Newnham family from Wivelsfield, Sussex for the past 18 or so years and this line I had no clues what so ever. If any one has ideas, clues or whatever on what to do next I would be most pleased.
