I have to re check my messages- Thank you so very much for taking the time to do a search for information for me. I appreciate your help very much. The children did not appear in the 1906 Census,so I thought that they must have passed away prior to that. We know that one of the girls was born in 1904 -so out timeline was 1904 -1906 Census. Perhaps some records may have been lost during the transition from N.W.T. to Province of Alberta? There is another CHMELYK family -a cousin of my grandfather. They appear in the 1901 Census under that spelling -My grandparents CHMELEK-[incorrect spelling] 1906 my grandparents have the correct spelling.Wrong spelling again in 1911.but the other family appear Thank you again for helping me - and all the help you give to others.
