Hello Everyone. What can I say but thank you all very , very much. I have had quite a few replies about this family and from all those replies put together quite a good family. Of course a lot of it came from that wonderful story on Our Roots. What a great idea. Now I will have to see if I can get a few names and dates to fit all the grand children that John appears to have had. I see I have also been sent a copy of the phone book as well , so in the next few days, will have a look through that and see if I can find any Chinnery's or Deering's mentioned and do some letter writing .
