Global Genealogy wrote to you April 30, 1999 and since then you have received other letters, including some from me. Have you discussed the Post-1901 Census Release issue with your constituents -- very possibly you will be asked this weekend. I know changes will have to be made to present laws -- but did you know Alberta is one of three Canadian provinces which has never had a Canadian census? The Canadian Alliance and Progressive Conservative leaders are in favour of the general public being able to learn their history, and this does not include only genealogists. Please let me know your opinion about census release -- AFTER you have consulted YOUR constituents. Also, it is preferable to have a personal reply -- may be by e-mail.
