He later registered with A.Ph.A. When Dr. Sawdon's son, Austin Sawdon, graduated from U.of A. in 1935, he took over the pharmacy which he named Sawdon Pharmacy. He operated it for 30 years until 1965. Doris Caroline Sherring (nee Wyndham) was a pharmacist at Sawdon's. Austin Sawdon sold to Doug McPherson who changed the name to "Capital Drugs" and continued to operate it until 1978. http://www.ourroots.ca/e/toc.aspx?id=5305 On another web site (which was very difficult to read) it says Dr. Sawdon died 10 June 1947 and he married Laura Robinson who d. 14 Dec 1964 in Three Hills, d/o George Thomas Robinson and Emma Elizabeth Craig who married 27 June 1879 in the Methodist Church, Leeds, Megantic Co, Quebec. I tried searchin all of the 1900 census records, but darned if I could find him. good luck, Bette
