    3. Hi June, When I was little - we visited my grandparents farm once a year. Difficult for a little city girl - to understand the catalogue use - I still remember the pictures and words being so fascinating.; Also remember - helping to cut the newspaper - Grown ups used scissors - A pre teen was given one sheet at a time - learned to fold into quarters - then cut with an old [unserrated] dinner knife . Don't know if this was a labour of love, * I do remember feeling quite important and grown up. Way back in 1998 - visiting the old homestead - the outhouse - was still there - An elderly aunt - still used it . She did have a full bathroom in her newish house -but didn't think that it was right to have that room inside - where people slept and ate . though we were allowed to use this facility.
