On Jan. 25, 1911, Louis Pearce married Lucy Scratch in Windsor, Essex Co. Louis was 24, a farmer, Methodist, & of Kingsville. Lucy was 26, of Kingsville, & daughter of James Scratch & Salome McQueen. The witnesses were Merle Scratch & Mrs. F.W. Hollurke, both of Windsor. The 1911 Census, Medicine Hat, Albt., recorded Lewis Pearce, born June, 1887, 25, & Lucy, June, 1884, 26, both domestics living in the home of Ralph Alderson.
