Greetings All. Just a short note to advise that recent updates to the Post 1901 Census Project website have just been loaded. They include links to extracts of several media reports not previously shown, and many more links to other websites having information relating to Census. If you have submitted a request for a reciprocal link to your website, and it is not included with this update, please contact me again regarding this. MPs and Senators Scoreboards and Correspondence Logs have been updated and more to come. Please copy your letters to MPs and Senators, and more importantly their responses, to me so that they can be added to the Correspondence Logs and the Scoreboards updated. Also added, on the Petitions page, is a colourful letter sized poster, in PDF format, that has been developed for use with Post 1901 Census Petitions. Download and distribute it freely wherever petitions have been posted. Petitions continue to come in almost daily. These are very important to demonstrate to the government that the people of Canada wish to regain public access to Historic Census Records. Please continue to collect signatures on these petitions. The next batches of petitions will be sent in about the time Parliament reconvenes in September. The interest and support of all is appreciated. With your assistance we will achieve our goal of regaining public access to Historic Census Records. Happy Hunting. Gordon A.
