I am new to this list and am trying to find where and when my husband's grandfather, Harry Rodie, arrived in Alberta from Scotland (Glasgow). We are told it was about 1908, that he built houses in Lethbridge and that he married Margaret Andrew(s) (also from Scotland) in Alberta. We do know that he was in Kamloops, B.C. by 1910 and had a son. Would anyone be able to advise me how to find a marriage record - if there is one - and how to find out when he arrived from Scotland.
