Hello. Would any one have or could tell me where i could see on line or search for Tremblay in a 1850 or later directory of Lac La Biche,AB,CA.? Looking for a business place owned by Raphael Tremblay and wife Catherine ( McDougall ) Tremblay. Thank you. Viola.
Viola; In 1850, there were only fur traders at Lac La Biche, managed out of another Fort. The Roman Catholic Missionaries didn't have a permanent Mission at Lac La Biche until 1853, and that was one of the earliest in the whole area/ territory. The Hudson's Bay Archives is likely a better place to look for such early residents since they were likely involved in some way or another with the fur trade. They can be found at: http://www.gov.mb.ca/chc/archives/hbca/index.html Alberta isn't 100 years old quite yet! Good Luck. Catherine Low Sherwood Park. Viola Seward wrote: > Hello.
