I use Family Origins and I have over 10,000 records. I don't know of any limit on either Family Origins or Family Tree Maker. I have been using Brother's Keeper for years and have over 21,000 in the program. Lots of room for notes, photos etc. Best part is you can download it on line for a trial (this is the full program) and if you like it you can register it. Just type in Brother's Keeper in your browser.
