To Shannon and others who tried to help me with my query on Tom, Mary and Harry Wood. The picture is still in question as almost everyone thought it was a Canadian Air Force summer uniform and the picture appeared to have been taken at Camp Borden in Barrie, Ontario. During the war years, that camp was one of the most important training bases for Canada and many Commonwealth countries although it appeared to be an Army camp according to sources I've been in contact with. I managed to have SKS look up some obituaries in the Seattle area and sure enough Marie (Mary) Wood was known to be living in Brownsville, Ontario in 1961 and in Kettleby, Ontario in 1971. To the best of my knowledge there was both a Brownsville and a Kettleby in York County, Ontario although Brownsville no longer exists. I thought I might start looking there though as it seems logical that they might stay in the same area. I'm still open to suggestions on this one. I dropped out of sight for awhile due to virus trouble, but if anyone wants another look at the photo...it's at...... http://www.geocities.com/courtie_mae/bonnie/hgwood.jpg I'm moving on to the Ontario list now to see if I can sort this out, but please feel free to contact me if you want to have some input. Thanks for everything. Bonnie Menzer Barnes Perth, Western Australia > Bonnie, > Did you get an identification for your photo? What is the uniform - which > service? I'm curious! > > Shannon >
